ThanksFerGivin”er Feast and OPEN MIC

I hope you can join us for our 7th annual ThanksFerGivin”er party is this Sunday. I have been doing this out of my house (formerly known as Asylum HeadQuarters) for quite a while. We have been on quite a journey over the past year and a half to get established in this great new space. I wish I could express how much I appreciate each and every one of you and your contribution to making The Asylum for Art the greatest art space. So many of you have stepped up during the building of The Academy and MOB Cafe – especially over the past 6 months. This Sunday is our opportunity to express in music and turkey how much I love you all.

Starting at 3:00, our weekly OPEN MIC, hosted by Justin Vandergrift will kick off and will go until we run out of music. Queen Amber will be working her magic, creating a ThanksFerGivin”er Feast to end all ThanksFerGivin”er Feasts. There will be a MOT at the MOB Cafe (murder of turkeys at the murder of banjos – we have 3, so no one will go hungry) and most definitely, some great veg options and some reasonably good aspic, gramma style. Usually, we make this a giant potluck, but this year, that is a no go, so we are putting it all together and putting it on ‘pay what you feel like’. We want you to come and accept thanks for being awesome.
