Description
For Kevin Knopf, song writing has always been a main focus in genres that include Hard Rock, Pop and Country Rock. Originally from Vancouver he moved to the Calgary area with his family and continued to write and record as a solo artist, band leader and session player. Kevin is an active member of the Calgary SongSmiths. He also can be seen performing all around the Calgary area in acoustic coffee house appearances. Kevin also performs with the Kevin Knopf Band delivering High Energy Rocking Guitar Driven Shows reminiscent of current acts such as The Cadillac Three and Blackberry Smoke.
Brettyn Rose is a country-pop artist with music rooted in an acoustic aesthetic, weaved with honest lyrics, powerful vocals, and a hint of pop sparkle. The Calgary, Alberta based singer-songwriter demonstrates all these traits in her latest single, “But I Do.” “This is probably my most vulnerable and heartfelt song to date,” says Rose, “It’s about the feeling of caring about someone, more than you should, even after they are no longer a part of your everyday life.” For this release, and past releases, Rose teamed up with producer and JUNO Award winner, Mike Little (Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion, Road Hammers) and his partner Candace Lacina (Shania Twain, George Canyon) in their home studio, the Legion Lounge (Calgary, AB).
Buddy Elliot is an Americana-folk artist based in Calgary, Alberta. Raised in an orchard family outside of Kelowna, in Lake Country, BC, Elliot’s songs are equal parts heartbreak and hope. Inspired by songwriters like Dolly Parton, John Prine, and Lori McKenna, Elliot’s story songs ground societal issues in real-life observations.
