Elliot Freedman

“Very, very good avant fusion” (Guitar Player magazine) captures the essence of Elliot Freedman‘s music: harmonically elegant, rhythmically muscular, and an uncompromisingly adventurous update on the electric jazz of the 1970s. Elliot, whose baritone guitars accentuate his innovative chordal work, will perform his own compositions with his BC-based group, as well as solo arrangement of music by Keith Jarrett, Kenny Wheeler, Bill Evans, and others.   Having spent his formative years in Calgary, Elliot is thrilled to return to Asylum for Art–and to do so with his group!  Thanks for listening and for supporting live music!
