Connecting the likes of J.S. Bach and Charlie Parker, Sean Croal Trio will be interpreting European Classical pieces through the lens of Black American Music. The conception of this set of music was originally to be part of Sean’s final undergraduate recital, however, just days before the debut performance the recital had to be canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Over a year later, now joined by the likes of Edmonton based musicians Sahil Chugh and Jon Guenter, Sean and the band are beyond ecstatic to be performing live in person and virtually at the one and only Asylum for Art
