The Diamond Hitch String Band formed in fits and starts, waylaid in the viral darkness; meeting, rehearsing and planning as the law would allow.
When the doors were flung open again, The Diamond Hitch String Band marched out, ready, with a joyful brand of string music. It’s a mix of original and classic, bluegrass, country and folk songs, in an earnest and enthusiastic style.
They’ve got David Hoffart on mandolin, Lance Loree on the dobro, Joni Brent on the big bass, and Bryson Waind on the guitar. They’ve got hot tunes and heartbreakers. They’ve got drinking songs and ‘the day after’ songs. They’ve got everything you need for a Saturday night.
