Doug has written lots of songs and is currently presenting them with guitar loops. As well as winning first place in the Calgary Folk Fest Songwriting contest two years in a row, Doug has composed music for film, TV, theatre, and modern dance.

Doug has had numerous bands, beginning with Charles Atlas and the Real Men, and most recently with Büsker Dü. He busked throughout Europe, toured to Spain with the Ramblin’ Ambassadors, and produced the Bownesians‘ Picnic for 9 years.
