Flamenco Jaleo is a collective that performs, promotes and brings a passionate traditional flamenco performance of music, dance and song, presenting a variety of flamenco styles from around Andalucía, Spain, with melodies from Cadiz, Jerez, and Sevilla through dynamic and innovative musical and percussive arrangements. This evening at the Asylum for Art we will have invited the award winning dancer based in Toronto Carmen Romero, and guitarist Gareth Owen from Victoria in a Tablao flamenco format.
