Pianist Duke Ellington was the greatest jazz composer and bandleader of his time. He led his band for more than half a century while composing thousands of scores, with his musical gifts translating into a body of music unequaled in jazz history. No one else in the history of jazz has expressed himself more freely or with more variety, swing and sophistication.

Jim and his sextet are excited to offer you some interpretations of his music as their Salute to the Duke!
