This quartet was formed to fulfill a desire to explore further the rich musical tradition of pre-revolutionary Cuba and artists such as Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzalez, and Ibrahim Ferrer.  This musical tradition gained widespread public recognition and popularity after the Buena Vista Social Club album and film of the mid-1990’s. Come join us to hear an exciting combination of traditional salsa, beautiful ballads, high-energy dance rhythms, improvisation, and plenty of audience interaction.
