Formed by Slavic immigrant Petcho Joch, the Slavic folk Roma (gypsy) inspired Post-Punks Total Gadjos do for Slavic folk what Gogol Bordello do for Romani music and The Pogues for Irish folk. They rev it up to punk speed and power while maintaining the melodic sense of the original sound and use the accordion, sax, trumpet, clarinet, and violin for Slavic folk authenticity. Total Gadjos celebrate Slavic Folk and Roma (gypsy) music’s confident freewheeling party songs by giving them proper praise, respect, and pizzazz.Â
