Sofia Sieker is the newest addition to Asylum for Art as a vocal teacher. Sofia lived most of her life in Hong Kong where she pursued all virtues of art and studied singing, piano, and theatre. Sofia was a student at the Christine Samson Music Academy for over 10 years, where she became an expert in vocal training and performance. Sofia also studied theatre, including numerous plays and a rendition of “Annie”. Additionally, Sofia has been studying piano classically and contemporarily for over 15 years. Sofia also has a wide variety of experience in bands. She played trombone for 5 years alongside dabbling in trumpet, clarinet, and flute. Sofia has performed as part of a band for years, both as a singer and a trombonist. Alongside this, Sofia has extensively studied theory comprehension which developed into a love of songwriting. Sofia has composed her own music, as well as continues to write original songs.
