Music for me has always been a large pillar of my being and personality. I began performing at a very young age touring with professional musical theater groups and choirs and have kept it an integral part of my life ever since. A large part of my appreciation is to help young children discover their own joy for it. There is a magic to opening this brand new world to them and have them realize that they too have a voice to add to it. I have been leading Music based children’s programs for the past 30 years, receiving certifications from the Victoria Conservatory of Music, Musikgarten and the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have trained in Kodaly, Orff, and Kindermusik. Because there is a duality in my education I am able to provide a dynamic classroom environment that is mindful of their developmental benchmarks. As my focus is younger age groups my challenge that makes going to work fun is to present the material in an engaging way.
