Gabriel Zacharias, born and raised in Brazil is an artist who embodies the rhythms and sophisticated harmonies of traditional Brazilian music, with a focus on Bossa Nova and Samba. He studied under the guidance of legendary guitarist Nelson Faria as well as learning by ear from hundreds of Brazilian records he grew up with. Deeply influenced by the work of artists such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento and Chico Buarque, he is also passionate about genres such as jazz, choro, frevo and classical guitar. He blends each of those influences effortlessly while delivering an authentic sound rooted in the traditions of his home country.
