More advanced students will learn the principles of portraiture, with a focus on drawing or painting a self-portrait from a “selfie” on their phone. The instructor will help guide the student through composition and blocking, understanding shading and highlighting on the 3D form of the face, and learn little tricks for “seeing” the work clearly for optimal results.

 

Materials needed: Photo or your phone camera, and medium of your choice (Paper, pens, brushes, paint, canvas etc)
